For nearly 30 years, AVANCE-North Texas has walked alongside children and families with the goal of ensuring equitable access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. This is why our unique approach and programming are designed to empower and support caregivers and children on their journeys.
Programs
The Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) is AVANCE's core foundational program. It teaches parents how to become their child’s first and most important teacher and how to transform their home into a classroom for lifelong learning.
The H.O.P.E.S. (Healthy Outcomes through Prevention & Early Support) program combines individualized home visits with tailored support to help families in Dallas County create the best possible environment for their children to grow and thrive.
In partnership with community colleges, AVANCE to College supports parents and caregivers in becoming their child's first teachers at home while also empowering them to pursue opportunities for continued education and workforce upskilling.
